No heavy petting, but possible innapropriate touching‏

So at the very least, last night was a return to the good ol' cold sweat inducing 24. That Jack really can do anything. When the copilot told him to land the plane himself I was hoping that he actually would, because at this point, I think I'm done questioning the believability of the show. Jack could sprout wings and I'd just give my TV set a knowing shake of the head. Anyway, my favorite scene last night (and perhaps of the whole season) was when Logan went to say goodbye to Lady Logan. Jean Smart and Gregory Itzin are freakin' awesome when they aren't kissing and awkwardly fondling each other. (My apologies to George.) The delivery of that one line: "If I wasn't so horrified that I'm married to you, I might actually be impressed." by Mrs. L. was perfectly delivered, and the first line spoken on 24 that I was so impressed with that I actually wrote it down. I hope they keep up the pace for the last 3 hours and we find out more about Dr. Romano (Paul McCrane from ER, I can't remember his 24 character name) and his merry men and what their deal is. I'm also curious to see if Audrey's daddy will be back, or if the news of his not-demise were just to settle the grief-stricken hearts of his rabid fans. (I personally didn't care.) All I could hear as I attempted sleep last night was Robocop saying "You can't touch them, but they can touch you." (Or something to that effect – he said it in the previews for next week). And I wondered if the writers of 24 wanted us to think that in addition to being terrorists, the Dr. Romano-led folks were a bunch of perverts, too. Probably not, but stranger things have happened on 24.
