Like the Kate episode, I saw the ending coming (the Sun/Jin ending, not the Michael ending, but I saw that one coming too).
Unlike the Kate ending, I did not exclaim exuberantly, "I knew it!" but instead "Fuck, that's what I thought." My first reaction to the episode was sadness and I teared (that's tear as in cry, not rip) up during the last two scenes. However, as I fell asleep I was thinking that it was a bit too manipulative for my tastes with the flashback and forward running together. But then I though that the episode would definitely not been as good without the flashbacks, so I have come to peace with their manipulation. I think it was worth it. Especially because that scene in the tent was the season 1 Jin and Sun that I loved so much.
I fear for Juliet. I think she's headed down Redemption Road and we all know where that leads. Her reveal to Jin was Awesome though. Ang and I both yelled at the TV.
I'm glad Michael reveal wasn't what they ended the episode with. However, I heard that ABC spoiled whatever surprise there might have been in the previews for this episode. ABC sucks. Regardless the scene with Michael was a great scene, played really well by Harold Perrineau and Naveen Andrews. (And that earlier scene when the captain revealed Widmore's name to Desmond was excellent too. The look on Des' face was fantastic.)
That's all I have right now. We're having power surges at work so I should send this before I lose it. I apologize if it doesn't all make sense cuz I don't have time to re-read it.
